One is our Go-To places for sushi. The portions are quite large and it's always fresh. My son loves the owner and often ask me if he could go to this place for sushi.

I love the salmon, seared salmon, scallop, and hamachi nigiri. I also like any specials that the chef has to offer.

It's ran by a nice family and I always feel welcomed whether I'm going on my own or with my family.

I've been to many Japanese restaurants in the peninsula and this spot is definitely our go to place for rolls and nigiri. You can customize your own omakase for much less than a fancy place.

For nigiri, we always order these:
Seared sake toro, oyster bombs, hamachi, scallops, salmon,

For rolls, we like these:
Double unagi
Hokkaido roll
Lion king
Negitoro

It's always the same chef (Steve) and the same waitresses when we go and service has always been very on point.

If you order to go, stick with the rolls! The nigiri should be eaten at the restaurant. You can substitute the imitation crab for real crab for $3- worth it!

Chef Steve is very accommodating. One of our friends doesn't like mayo and he was able to do a substitute for that!

We eat here at least 2x a month and all of our friends love it here too. There's private Japanese style rooms where you take off your shoes for privacy with larger groups 6+.

Great food, and good service. Went in with a party of 6 on very short notice and were able to accommodate us. Everyone enjoyed their cooked dishes as well as the sushi dishes! No complaints, and would recommend if you're looking for a no frills, true sushi bar!

4.5 stars. Very solid sushi for the price. Ordered a beef teriyaki and tempura lunch bento as well as the deluxe chirashi.

Miso soup was extremely tasty, but I wish the portion was a little bigger there. Beef teriyaki was 5 stars, but the tempura wasn't as good as some I've had at other places.

The chirashi had a good mix of common (salmon, tuna) and more fancy (uni, toro) selections. Fish tasted fresh but the rice was not as flavorful as I had hoped.

Service was nice and the outside room was fairly packed for a weekday lunch.

Sushi wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. Service was good, though there were a lot of empty tables on a Friday night in June. I heard the sushi chefs speaking Cantonese while eating. I wish the restaurant closed the vents on the doors of the restaurant, the draft was strong during my time in the restaurant.

If you're looking for casual sushi this is the spot! Their menu selection is large so there is definitely something for everyone! I love the portion sizes of the rolls and the flavor was great. The beef sukiyaki broth was good but the noodles were not my favorite.

I will definitely come back here when I am craving rolls or don't want to spend $22 on a small roll that will not even get me full!
